FURTHER INFORMATION ABOUT MISSION AND EVENTS
New office hours: The church office now opens at 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. on Monday through Friday.
Prayer concerns: Concerns about members and friends for which you wish prayer may be addressed to
the Prayer Group either by speaking to Pastor Murray, Darlene Korykora, or any other member of the
Prayer Group. Such requests are confidential unless congregational prayer led by the pastor is
requested.
New member class: The last class meets June 6 in Mills’ Landing. The classes are open to everyone -
those who wish to join the church as well as those who would just like to learn more about this church
and Presbyterianism in general. These classes will include theology (beliefs), history, polity (church
government) and mission. Please call the pastor or the office if you plan to attend. See you there.
CPC Youth Group: The high school age Youth Group meets on the third Monday of each month.
Information or questions? Call or text Robert Knight at (845) 549 – 4235.
Prayer Shawl Ministry: Do you knit? Do you have bits and pieces of yarn just calling out to be used up?
Are you looking for a congenial group of knitters? Most importantly, are you interested in helping to wrap
God’s love around members of our congregation? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then
please speak to Eileen Tulloch.
Fellowship meal: The theme is Tastes of the Mediterranean. If you can, bring something to share. Invite a
neighbor or friend to join us, or take something home to share with others, a neighbor, or friend.
Village Nursery School: Registration is ongoing for the summer camp program and the 2010 fall classes.
Call Nancy Rosenberger, 534 – 9254, for information.
Updated directory: We are in the process of assembling a new church directory. Draft copies are located
at the front door of the church, in the choir room, and in the Fellowship Hall. A red pen is attached to
each copy. Please check your OWN address, phone number, and e-mail address and use the red pen to
make necessary corrections! We will be editing the draft copy and printing a final corrected copy soon.
Flowers: Flowers for the worship table are a visible and wonderful way to contribute to worship and to
recognize family and loved ones, express joy in the Lord's gifts, or merely to brighten up the sanctuary.
Please speak to Deacon Nancy Casparian.
Food Pantry: The food pantry is ever appreciative of contributions of nonperishable items. Pick up an
extra item or two, such as canned vegetables, canned meat, macaroni and cheese, instant mashed
potatoes, powdered milk, rice, tuna, juice, peanut butter and jelly, pasta, sauce, and cookies while you
shop. Please place your gifts in the bin in the rear of the sanctuary.
